Batteries & Chargers
This equipment contains a lithium-ion battery pack.
NEVER dispose of the lithium-ion battery in fire. An explosion may
result.
DO NOT short-circuit the battery pack.
DO NOT charge the lithium-ion battery in any other charger.
DO NOT operate the charger if it has been broken or damaged in
any way.
DO NOT disassemble the charger. It is not a user serviceable item.
ALWAYS dispose of lithium-ion batteries according to local
regulations.
ALWAYS switch the radio OFF when charging battery.
ONLY use approved accessories.
ONLY use the charger in dry locations. The charger is not suitable
for outdoor use.
Radio Antenna
DO NOT use any portable radio that has a damaged antenna. If a
damaged antenna comes into contact with the skin, a minor burn
may result.
DO NOT change or modify the antenna. Unauthorized antennas,
modifications, or attachments could damage the radio and violate
its compliance status.
DO NOT hold the antenna when the radio is in use. Holding the
antenna reduces talk range and may cause bodily harm.
