20. Occasional failure of Jet-Fit
guide bars when accidents occur.
Cause: The guide bar becomes stuck in
the cut, or an accident occurs causing
the guide bar to become stuck.
Symptoms: The force required to
dislodge the guide bar approaches the
strength of the guide bar holder, during
which the guide bar mount breaks.
Remedy: In this case, the Jet-Fit
guide bar breaks as designed to
prevent damage to the expensive
guide bar mount as shown in the
illustration below.
