What to do if Oval LSF40 counts while the valve remains closed?
    • M
      Mariah MonroeAug 9, 2025
If the Oval Accessories counter shows counts even when the valve is closed, it could be due to liquid leaks from valves or tube connections. Inspect these components for their condition. Alternatively, air might be trapped between the valve and meter, causing the rotors to rock due to pulsating pump pressure. In this case, release the trapped air and install a check valve and accumulator.

How to fix Oval Accessories counter that will not count?
    • G
      gilmoremichelleAug 16, 2025
If your Oval Accessories counter isn't counting, first, progressively open the valves to ensure sufficient flow rate. Check that the pump pressure or head pressure is adequate for your tubing system. Ensure the pulse generator receives 12 to 24 VDC power. If the rotors are jammed by foreign matter, disassemble the meter body, and clean the rotors and related components. Lastly, make sure the rotors are installed correctly.

Why is the accumulated total too high on my Oval LSF40?
    • D
      Danielle KellyAug 25, 2025
If the accumulated total on your Oval Accessories is too high, it might be caused by a rocking motion of the rotors due to pulsating flow. To resolve this, install a check valve and accumulator. Another cause might be external magnetic fields interfering with the flow sensor. Shield the device from these fields. Also, check for entrapped air and provide an air vent to release it.
