Your hands-free device is charged and
turned on.
Your smartphone is within range of the
hands-free device.
If the problem persists, turn the
Bluetooth setting to Off and then turn it
on again. If it still persists, delete the
partnership, and then create a new
partnership with the hands-free device
(see Connecting to a Bluetooth
®
hands-free device).
I hear static or interference when using
my Bluetooth hands-free device
Try moving your smartphone closer to
the hands-free device. Audio quality
degrades as the distance between your
smartphone and hands-free device
increases. The effective range for a
device varies between manufacturers.
Confirm that no obstructions, including
your body, are between your
smartphone and your hands-free device.
If the problem persists, turn the
Bluetooth setting to Off and then turn it
back on again. If it still persists, create a
new partnership with the hands-free
device (see Connecting to a Bluetooth
®
hands-free device).

your device is compatible.
Check the documentation that came
with your device or the manufacturer’s
