Do not remove a PC Card while your computer is in the standby or
hibernation mode.
Note that the operation of removing the PC Card may not be com-
plete, depending on the status of the PC Card or device connected
to the PC Card, such as when a SCSI card is used to connect an
external hard disk to the computer. In such cases, turn off the power
from [Start] menu, then remove the card.

After selecting , do not press [Stop] for [PRISM2 IEEE 802.11
PC CARD Adaptor].

Select on the taskbar, select the PC Card, then
select [Stop]
Follow the on-screen instructions.
(When the PC Card has been removed after the computer is turned
off, this step is not necessary.)
2 Open the cover, then press the button out, then press
the button again.
3 Slide the PC Card out.
4 Close the cover.
