5. WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL
CZ-RL51P is used for Heat Pump models.
CZ-RL01P is used for Cooling models.
Ray receiver
Wireless
remote control
When a signal is received from the wireless remote control, the
indicator on the ray receiver flashes.
The indicators flash in order several times.
NOTES
• Direct the wireless remote control towards the ray receiver to operate.
• Operation is possible at distance of 8 m or less from the ray receiver. (The
operating range will be reduced if the wireless remote control is at a sharper
angle to the ray receiver.)
• Do not install the ray receiver in places exposed to direct sunlight or near a
heater.
• Make sure the signal of the wireless remote control to the ray receiver is not
obstructed.

• If the remote control cannot operate the unit properly or if the remote control display is weak, replace the batteries and then
repeat the settings. (Replace both batteries of the same type at the same time.)
• Remove both batteries from the remote control if not in use for a long period of time.
• Rechargeable (Ni-Cd) batteries differ in aspects such as shape and performance cannot be used.

5-1 Inserting the batteries
Slide the remote control cover, then pull out
the cover.
Insert the batteries.
(Use two R03 (AAA) dry-cell batteries or
equivalent.)
Make sure that the polarities are correct.
Close the remote control cover.
