14.12 Duty Rotation Control (Optional)
(This control only applies to CS-Z25YKEA/Z35YKEA/Z42YKEA/Z50YKEA/Z71YKEA)
1.1 System outline
Purpose
Duty rotaon allows cascade management (Periodic turn-based turning on and off) of mulple units in
an air-condioned environment so that overall lifespan of unit can be extended and backup units are
available in the case of malfuncon encountered by running units.
Duty rotaon in YKEA model involves two units connected to one wired remote control, classified as
Main unit (connected to CN-CNT (A) port) and Sub unit (connected to CN-CNT (B) port). Duty rotaon is
managed by a built-in soware in wired remote controller (instead of indoor unit soware). During
normal operaon, unit is controlled by wired remote controller through CN-RMT transmission. During
Duty rotaon, wired remote controller will send signals periodically through CN-CNT (A and B) signals
to indoor unit to turn ON/OFF the units.
