The program is erased completely when you use this proce-
dure and cannot be retrieved. Check the program carefully
before erasing it to ensure it isn't one you want to keep.
Preparation
eSwitch [DVD, TV] to "DVD".
elnsert a disc you have recorded on.
1 While stopped
Press [TOP WINDOW].
2 Use the joystick [A, V, <, I_] to
select "DIRECT NAVIGATOR" and
press [ENTER].

Use the joystick [A, Y] to select the
program you want to erase.
Use the joystick [1_] so the submenu
appears.
Use the joystick [A, V] to select
"Erase Program" and press [ENTER].
6 Use the joystick [<1, I_] to select
"Erase".
7 Press [ENTER].
• To stop partway through
In step 6, either select "Cancer' and press [ENTER] or press
[RETURN],
For your reference
eThe disc's available recording time may not increase after erasing
short programs.
eComputer data cannot be erased.
eThe available recording time on DVD-R does not increase when
you erase programs.
