The specified parts of the program are erased completeJy
when you use this procedure and cannot be retrieved. Check
the program carefully to ensure it isn't one you want to keep.
Preparation
*Switch [DVD, TV] to "DVD".
*Insert a disc you have recorded on.
1 While stopped
Press [TOP WINDOW].

Use the joystick [A,
select "DIRECT
press [ENTER].

4 Use the joystick [1_] so the submenu

"Shorten Segment" and press
[ENTER].

forward and slow-motion to find the
start point of the part you want to
erase and press [ENTER].
