(11) Disconnect the Harness.
(12) Loosen the Process Unit Screw (743).
(13) Slide the Process Unit out.
Caution:
To prevent damage to the Process Unit, ensure
the Right Cover is still open before pulling the
Process Unit out.
Caution:
Exercise caution not to scratch the surface of the
OPC Drum (Green), and not to touch it with bare
hands.
Caution:
The OPC Drum is sensitive to light. To prevent
optical exposure problems, do not expose the
OPC Drum to direct sunlight or bright light (even if
it is a 1000-Lux fluorescent lamp).
(14) Remove 1 Screw (1Y).
(15) Remove the Front Lock Plate Assembly (751)
(longer plastic tab).
(16) Remove 1 Screw (1Y).
(17) Remove the Rear Lock Plate Assembly (752)
(shorter plastic tab).
(18) Turn the OPC Drum Assembly in the direction
of the arrow and remove.
Caution:
Exercise caution not to scratch the surface of the
OPC Drum (Green), and not to touch it with bare
hands.
