I Changing subtitlelanguage
Some DVDs have more than one subtige language recorded on
them, and you can change the language during play.
During play
Press [SUBTITLE] to f_ "l
change the subtitle
number.
The subtitle number changes each time you press the button.
You can also usethe joystick ( •, • ) to change the number.
"--" is displayed ifsubtitles are not recorded on the disc
To turn the subtitles on and off.
Move the joystick left or right (4, • ).
To clear the display
Press the joystick.
• There may be a slight delay before subtitles are shown.
• You can only select languages if they have been recorded on the
disc you are playing.
• You can also make language settings before play with the Subtitle
language settings (_ Page 26). Some discs are designed to start
in a certain language despite any changes you make to the initial
settings.
I Switchingangles
Some DVDs allow you to view the same scene from different
angles.
"_ " lights up on the unit's display during scenes with multiple
angles recorded to indicate this feature is available.
While playing a scene with multiple angles
Press (ANGLE] to change I_!

Some discs allow you to set angles before multi-angle scenes are
