Various settings are made at the time of shipment that determine the way OVDs are played and viewed, Some of these settings can be changed
during play, and these operations have been described earlier. You can also change the initial settings to suit your individual needs.

Initial settings screen
If you select "1 Automatic" in "2 Subtitle"
If the soundtrack language is set to English, then subtitles will not
appear if the DVD has an English soundtrack. English subtitles will
appear if the soundtrack is in another language.
