Why doesn't my Panasonic Air Conditioner respond to the remote?

If your Panasonic Air Conditioner isn't responding to the remote, first ensure the indoor unit is powered on. Then, check if the remote's batteries are dead and replace them if needed. Also, verify that the operating mode is correctly set and that the display lamp matches the cooling/heating setting, or set it to Auto. Finally, confirm that the addresses of the receiver and the remote controller match.
