What causes screen switching issues on a Panasonic Monitor?
    • J
      Jonathan SmithJul 31, 2025
When an unspecified screen appears or there's trouble switching screens on your Panasonic Monitor, it could be due to several reasons. First, the screen specification in the PLC screen setting, the GT switch part, or the auto-paging might be incorrect, so specify the correct screen number. Second, the startup screen might be incorrectly specified in the GT configuration settings (GTWIN), so check and delete unnecessary settings and re-transfer the configuration data. Third, an erroneous device or value might be specified in the first word of the basic communication area word device, so check the device content specified on the PLC side in the first word of the basic communication area. (Do not use the basic communication area with ladder programs.)

What to do if my Panasonic GT01 Monitor screen displays [Memory is Full]?
    • L
      Leonard HayesAug 7, 2025
If your Panasonic Monitor displays the message '[Memory is Full]', it means the total size of the transferred base screen data exceeds the monitor's 384 kbyte capacity. To fix this, delete some base screen data to stay within the limit. You can check data capacity by going to [View (V)]?[Memory Usage Conditions] on the GTWIN menu bar. If the data capacity is not over the limit, invalid data could possibly be remaining in the GT. When transferring data, do so after deleting the screen.

Why does my Panasonic GT01 display [Screen No. Error]?
    • J
      Jacqueline RogersAug 14, 2025
If your Panasonic Monitor displays '[Screen No. Error]', it means the screen settings from the PLC, the GT’s switch part, or the auto-paging indicate an unregistered screen number. To resolve this, create and register screen content or specify the correct screen number. It can also mean that when bringing up the keyboard screen during data input, an unregistered keyboard screen number was specified, so create and register a keyboard screen or specify the correct keyboard number. Also, if GT configuration data and keyboard screen data exist in the GT, but there is no base screen data, transfer base screen data from GTWIN.

What to do if Panasonic GT01 displays [No Screen data]?
    • M
      Monica WellsAug 23, 2025
If your Panasonic Monitor displays '[No Screen data]', it means there is no base screen data in the GT, even if GT configuration data exists. To resolve this, transfer base screen data to the monitor.
