Color or brightness changes and horizontal bars may appear when recording under fluorescent, mercury, or sodium light, but this is normal. Try recording in Intelligent Auto Mode, or set the shutter speed to 1/100 in 50 Hz areas, or 1/125 in 60 Hz areas.
