Switch the picture quality and recording format of the motion pictures to record. The recording
formats that can be set change according to [REC FORMAT] setting.
When [REC FORMAT] is set to [AVCHD]
A Favours image quality
B Favours Recording time
When [REC FORMAT] is set to [MP4/iFrame]
*1 This option allows you to record in 1080/50p (1920k1080/50 progressive), which is the highest
picture quality for this unit.
*2 [1080] and [720] are recording modes suitable for playing back or editing on a PC.
*3 [iFrame] is a format suitable for Mac (iMovie etc.). It is recommended for when using a Mac.
Recordable time using the battery (l 12)
This function’s default setting is [HG] mode.
Please refer to page 187 for details about approximate recordable time.
When the unit is moved a lot or moved quickly, or when a fast-moving subject is recorded,
mosaic-type noise may appear at playback.
Detected faces appear with frames.
Up to 5 frames are indicated. Larger faces and faces nearer to the centre of the screen take
preference over others.

Only the prioritised face framing is displayed.

All face detection framings are displayed.
[OFF]:
Cancel the setting.
