Protecting scenes/still
pictures
Scenes/still pictures can be protected so that they are not deleted by mistake.
(Even if you protect some scenes/still pictures on an SD card, formatting the SD card will delete
them.)
!Rotate the mode dial to select .
1 Select the menu. ( 22)
2 Select the scene/still picture to
be protected and then press the
cursor button.
The [ ] indication appears and the scene/still
picture is protected.
Press the cursor button again to cancel the
setting.
2 or more scenes/still pictures can be set in
succession.
Press the MENU button to complete the
settings.
When play mode is set to [INTEL. SCENE]
while playing back motion pictures, scenes
cannot be protected.
[VIDEO SETUP] or [PHOTO SETUP]
[SCENE PROTECT] [YES]
