10. Adjust the exit guides ( ) to be slightly larger than the actual size of the documents.
11. Open your scanning application and scan the documents.

• Y
ou can also start up applications automatically to scan documents (Push Scan). For details about
Push Scan, see "7.3.2.1 Performing push scan" (page 59).
• Remove documents from the exit tray after they have been scanned.
• Feed tray moves upwards when scanning is started. Keep fingers away.
In case of emergency, pull the ADF door release upwards.
• Do not apply excessive force to the feed tray or the exit tray.
