5 Enter the current hour/minute by selecting 2 digits for
each. Press {*} repeatedly to select “AM”, “PM”, or
24-hour time entry.
L When neither “AM” nor “PM” is displayed, 24-hour
time entry is selected.
Example: 15:20 (24-hour time entry)
Press {1}{5} {2}{0}.

6 Press {SET}.
L The next feature will be displayed.

To correct a mistake
Press {<} or {>} to move the cursor to the incorrect
number, and make the correction.
3.6 Your logo
Your logo will be printed on the top of each page sent
from your unit.
The logo can be your name or the name of your
company.
1 Press {MENU}.

2 Press {<} or {>} repeatedly to display the following.

PRESS SET
3 Press {SET}.
L The cursor (|) will appear on the display.

4 Enter your logo, up to 30 characters (see page 48 for
character entry).
L To enter a hyphen, press {R}.
L To insert a space, press {HANDSET MUTE}
(KX-FT982)/{MUTE} (KX-FT988).
5 Press {SET}.
L The next feature will be displayed.
6 Press {MENU}.
To correct a mistake
1. Press {<} or {>} to move the cursor to the incorrect
character.
2. Press {STOP}.
L To erase all characters, press and hold {STOP}.
3. Enter the correct character.
