Editing a caller’s phone number
before calling back

{CID} (left soft key)
2 {V}/{^}: Select the desired entry.
L You can see the detailed information about
the caller by pressing {SINGLE}.

4 {V}/{^}: “Edit and Call” i { SELECT}
5 Edit the number.
L Press dial key ({0} – {9}) to add, {CLEAR}
to delete.
6 Press {CALL} or {C}.
1 {CID} (right soft key)
2 {V}/{^}: Select the desired entry.
L If an arrow (>) is displayed after the
number, the whole phone number is not
shown. Press {>} to see the remaining
numbers. To return to the previous display,
press {<}.

5 Edit the number.
L Press dial key ({0} – {9}) to add, {CLEAR}
to delete.
6 Lift the corded handset.
Note for handset and base unit:
L In step 6, the unit automatically uses the line the
call was received from to call back. If you want to
select a line:
Handset: {LINE} i {V}/{^}: Select the
desired line. i Press {CALL} or {C}.
Base unit (KX-TGP550): {LINE} i {V}/{^}:
Select the desired line. i Lift the corded
handset.
