Playback status indicator

Press DISPLAY twice to activate the playback status indicator.

Press to change the playback speed.
!
Press to display the current and the remaining playback time.

Press DISPLAY again to hide the status indicator.
To display the DISPLAY menu.
The available options depend on the current disc.

Press DISPLAY to invoke the DISPLAY menu of the current disc.

Press to select a sub-menu, then press or ENTER.

Press to select a setting as described on pages 16 and 17.

Press ENTER to confirm.
Press to display another sub-menu; press to select a setting as appropriate.
Press to return to the previous menu.

To modify the Picture Mode
!
Press DISPLAY, the DISPLAY menu of the active disc is displayed.
The available options depend on the current disc.

Press and ENTER to select Other Settings.
Press to go back to the previous menu.
!
Press and ENTER to select Picture Menu.
To display the settings, press ENTER again.
!
Press and ENTER to select a setting.
The menu item Picture Adjustment will be displayed if you select User.
Press and ENTER to select Picture Adjustment.
The Picture Adjustment menu will be displayed.
!
Press to select an option for modification, then press .
[Contrast], [Brightness], [Sharpness], [Colour], [Gamma]
!
Press RETURN or DISPLAY to quit the menu.
Picture Mode
Normal: Factory default
Cinema1: Cinema function for viewing
in dark rooms. Bright picture
areas are dimmed down.
Cinema2: Enhances brighter areas of
dark scenes.
Animation: Intensifies the colours.
Dynamic: Brightens up the picture.
User: Provides changes of the
Picture Adjustment menu.
