Overhaul

Overhauls

of

the

engine

shall

be

carried

out

exclusively

by

the

engine

manufacturer.

The

engine

has

to

be

shipped

for

this

purpose

with

the

engine

log

enclosed

to

t.he

eng

ine

manufacturer

after

reaching

the

TBO

Major

Maintenance

and

Repair

Major

maintenance

and

repairs

shall

be

carried

out

by

the

manufacturer

of

the

engine

or

by

a

repair

station

holding

the

pertiment

certificate.

The

600

hours

inspection

as

well

as

the

engine

inspection

required

after

the

propeller

touched

the

ground

are

incl

uded

in

major

maintenance.

In

any

case

of

propeller

touching

the

ground

the

engine

shall

be

disassembled

and

its

crankshaft

as

well

as

the

other

engine

parts

shall

be

checked

for

damage.
