2.11.2 Tilting down
1． Slightly tilt the outboard motor up.
2． Slowly tilt the outboard motor down while pulling the tilt lock lever lever up.
3. Loose the steering friction adjuster by turning it counterclockwise, and adjust the steering
friction according to operator preference.
WARNING:
If there is too much resistance it could be difficult to steer, which could result in an
accident.
