8. STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
8.1. BATTERY STORAGE CONDITIONS
• Store the “battery” unit and charger away from heat, dust and humidity, after turning off the battery using one of
the on/off. buttons. Never store the battery in an ambient temperature of more than +45 °C.
• In order to conserve a long battery life and prevent deterioration, the battery must be charged when stored and
recharged every 24 months if it is not used.
• Never operate the push-buttons during the storage period.
• To ensure long battery life, the battery should be stored in a dry and warm place between 0 °C and 25 °C.
• No combustible object must be placed within 1.5 metres of the battery.
• The charger is maintenance-free.
• If the battery is not used for 10 days, the battery is automatically discharged to a storage state to preserve its life,
and heating of the battery may occur during this phase.
