Service Kit #2:
One (1) Cabinet Air Intake Filters
Two (2) Cabinet Air Vent Filters
Two (2) Compressor Air Intake Filters
Coalescer Filter Element
The 12-Month Maintenance Procedure starts with performing
the Six-(6) Month Maintenance Procedure. This is then
followed by changing the coalescer filter element and the
filter media for the cabinet air exhaust.
1. Refer to the "Six-(6) Month Maintenance Procedure
- Service Kit #1". Perform steps 1 through 6. Do not
restart the compressor.
2. Change the coalescing filter element.
Remove the bowl by turning it to the left
(counterclockwise). Lay it down with the drain tube still
attached (Figure 9).
NOTE: There may be a small amount of water in the bowl.
This is normal.
Grasp the filter element and unscrew it to the left
(counterclockwise). Discard the old filter.
NOTE: The threads are a fine pitch and will unscrew slowly.
Locate the plastic bag with the new filter element.
CAUTION: Do not handle the filter element with bare hands.
Skin oils may damage the element. Use the
plastic bag to handle the filter element.
Inspect the threaded end of the filter element for the
presence of the rubber gasket. Be certain that the
gasket is properly located.
CAUTION: Do not install the filter element without the
rubber gasket. Performance of the coalescing
filter will be affected.
Screw the coalescer filter element into the body by
turning it to the right (clockwise). Tighten finger tight. Do
not use tools. Throw away bag.
Inspect the bowl's top edge for correct positioning of
the sealing o-ring.
Install the bowl by lining up the tabs with slots in the
body and pushing up. Rotate the bowl to the right
(clockwise) to engage and lock the bowl in place.
The drain hose should be connected and have a
straight downhill path to a drain.
Ensure the coalescer drain tube is securely fastened.

3. Replace the cabinet air vent filters.
OPEN the two (2) cabinet vent covers on the right side
of the cabinet by pulling out on the top edge. The cover
will swing down (Figure 10).
Remove the filter media and discard.
Place the new filters into the openings. The soft side of
the filter should be facing out, away from the cabinet.
CLOSE the vent covers.
