2）Sighting point A, watch the horizontal circle window (12) and turn the
horizontal circle position ring at the same time , until the reading be 0°,
( Fig4.4 ) (setting the reading of starting location as 0°).
3）Sight and take the angle reading of point B. As ( Fig.4.5 ) , it is 92.5°which
express, reference to center of the instrument, the angle between A and B
( Fig4.5 ).
4.3 Measuring distance
The stadia lines etched on the reticle can be used for simply distance
measurement (measurement by using stadia line).
1) Counting the distance between the double stadia lines. For example, the
length is 1cm ( Fig.4.6 ).
