Playback/Deleting/Editing
You can remove red-eye (a phenomenon that occurs when the flash
reflects from the subject’s eyes) from your pictures.
1 In Playback mode, press the four-way controller (45)
to select the image you want to correct.
2 Press the four-way controller (3).
The Mode Palette appears.
3 Use the four-way controller
(2345) to select Z (Red-eye
Compensation).
4 Press the OK button.
A confirmation dialog for overwriting the
image appears.
If the error message [Cannot process
correctly] appears, go to the step 5 in “Removing Red-eye Manually”
(page 151).
5 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Overwrite]
or [Save as].
When the image is protected, [Save as] will be selected automatically.
6 Press the OK button.
The edited image is saved with the same number of recorded pixels
and quality level as the original.
Removing Red-eye
Red-eye compensation function cannot be used for movies. If you
try to do so, the error message will appear as described in step 4.
Red-eye compensation function can only be used for still pictures
taken with this camera.
