You can select the number of recorded pixels from [10M], [7M], [5M], [3M], [2M],
[1024] and [640].
The more pixels there are, the larger the picture and the file size. The file size also
varies depending on the quality level setting (1p.85).
Number of Recorded Pixels
1 Press the MENU button in Capture mode.
The [A Rec.Mode] menu appears.
2 Use the four-way controller (23)
to select [Recorded Pixels].
3 Press the four-way controller (5).
The pull-down menu appears.

For printing images with high-resolution settings in your printer,
printing at A4 size or larger, or editing and processing images
