Alternatively, the Capture mode might be set to Movie mode, Continuous Shooting, Infinity, (Sport) mode, or E (Pet) mode, so note that the flash will not discharge in these modes. You can cancel the non-flash setting in (Sport) mode and E (Pet) mode.
