Taking Still Pictures

You can adjust the amount of light emitted by the flash.
1 Press the MENU button in Capture mode.
The [A Rec. Mode] menu appears.
2 Use the four-way controller (23)
to select [Flash Exp. Comp.].
3 Use the four-way controller (45)
to change the light emission.
To increase the light emission, set a positive
(+) value. To decrease the light emission,
set a negative (–) value.
When a positive value has been set, the flash icon appears as j, and
when a negative value has been set, the flash icon appears as k.
4 Press the OK button.
The camera is ready to take pictures.
