The combination of shutter speed and aperture is
completely up to you. Guided by the meter
indication in the viewfinder, you can adjust both
controls to obtain proper exposure. If necessary,
deliberate over- or under-exposure are also

Programmed Auto Flash
If you use a Pentax dedicated TTL flash unit with
the camera in the Programmed AE mode, the
camera will automatically select the proper
aperture and automatically control flash output.

The TTL flash operation is not feasible with this
camera.
