Using the radio for the rst time
1. Place your radio on a at surface.
2. Straighten up the antenna.
3. Plug the AC power cord into an AC socket. The display will show “Welcome to Digital Radio”
for a few seconds. After short time, the current time will appear on the display.
4. If no time is displayed, the screen will show “00:00:00”. Press the Power On/Off button to turn
on your radio and it will nd a DAB clock radio stations. It may be necessary to relocate your
radio to a position giving better reception and carry out a scan to nd stations as described in
later sections.
IMPORTANT:
The mains plug is used as the means of connecting the radio to the mains supply.
The mains socket used for the radio must remain accessible during normal use. In order to
disconnect the radio from the mains completely, the mains plug should be removed from the
mains outlet completely.
