Design and function
General
The M1 is a mid-wheel-drive power wheelchair for indoor use. It is
intended for people with physical disabilities. The M1 can be used
outdoors with restrictions (see page 195), as it is not an all-terrain
wheelchair.
The wheelchair consists of a chassis and a seat. The chassis contains
the wheelchair’s electronics, power supply and drive functions.
The seat consists of a seat frame, seat plate, backrest, armrest, leg rest
and available accessories such as a headrest etc.
