The wheelchair is equipped with a drive unit (B) and a shock
absorber (A) for each drive wheel.
NOTICE
Shock absorber adjustments should be performed by personnel who are
well-acquainted with the design and functionality of the wheelchair. When
adjustment is needed, contact an authorized Permobil service center.
The drive unit consists of an electric motor with a gearbox and
magnetic wheel lock mounted on a swing arm.
Wheels
The wheelchair drive wheels are available with pneumatic tires or
flat-free (foam filled) tires. The casters have solid polyurethane tires.
