TIRE INFLATING CONNECTION
Next to the brake system air dryer to the left rear of the cab there is a tire inflating
connection.
1. Remove the rubber protective cap from the tire inflating connection.
2. Connect the tire inflating hose.
3. Pump up the tire. Inflate the tires while the engine is running and with maximum
pressure in the air reservoirs.
4. Refit the protective rubber cap to the tire inflating connection after the tire has
been inflated and store the hose.
Check as soon as possible that the tires have the correct pressure using a pressure
gauge. See the tire pressure table under "TECHNICAL DATA".
NOTE
The entire air pressure system of the vehicle can be filled with air from an
outside source using the tire inflating connection. When doing this, check
that the system pressure is correct using the air pressure gauge.
