NOTES ON THE USE OF GUARD AND GROUND
NORMAL MODE CONFIGURATION
In this configuration the Return and Ground are connected together with a relay internal to the Test Set.
Both stray leakage to earth ground and leakage through the Test Specimen are indicated on the current
meter. This configuration should be used if it is not possible to isolate the return side of the Test Specimen
from earth ground.
