1 Press ( Home ).
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Installation] > [Channel install.] >
[Digital: test reception] .
3 Press to enter the menu.
4 Press or the Numeric buttons to
enter the channel number.
5 Press OK to confi rm the channel number.
6 Press OK again to confi rm [Search] .
7 When complete, select [Store] to store
the channel.
Note
If the signal quality and strength is poor, •
reposition the antenna and retest.
If you still have problems with the reception •
of your digital broadcast, contact a specialized
installer.
Rename channels
You can rename channels. The name appears
when you select the channel.
1 When watching TV, press OK to display
the channel grid.
2 Select the channel to rename.
3 Press OPTIONS .
The channel options menu appears. »
4 Press to select [Rename channel] ,
then press OK .
A text input box appears. »
5 Press to select characters.
6 Press OK to confi rm each characters.
7 Select [Done] , then press OK to fi nish
renaming channels.
Tip
The device name can be up to six characters •
long.
Press • [Aa] to change uppercase letter to
lowercase letter and vice versa.
6 Install channels
The fi rst time you setup your TV, you are
prompted to select a menu language and to
install TV and digital radio channels (if available).
This chapter provides instructions on how to
re-install and fi ne tune channels.
Automatically install channels
This section describes how to search and store
channels automatically.
1 Press ( Home ).
2 Select [Installation] > [Channel install.]
> [Automatic installation] .
3 Select [Start] , then press OK .
4 Follow the on-screen instructions to
install channels.
Select installation mode
1 Press ( Home ).
2 Select [Installation] > [Channel install.]
> [Installation mode] .
3 Press to make your selection.
4 Press OK to confi rm.
Tip
You can press the • Numeric buttons to search
for a channel. If the channel is available, the TV
automatically tune and save it in the channel
list.
Test digital reception
You can check the quality and signal strength
of digital channels. This allows you to reposition
and test your antenna.
