Start analogue recording
1 To start recording,pressPLAYonthe CDRecorder/Player
and immediately start the source
4 RECORDlights continuouslyThetrack numberand

• Torecorda 3-secondsilenceat the start of a track, press
PAUSE•
• Tocheckthe (remaining)recordingtime, pressDISPLAY•
(Thiscanalso bedoneduringthe recording)
2 Tostop recording,pressSTOPon the CDRecorder/Player.
-) nEcneawill go out.
• Tointerrupt recording,press PAUSE•
-.I. BECOeDwill start to flash. Resumeat step 1.
After recordingthe displaywill show UPdREE for several
seconds•
Note, WithAUTOmACKon, the recorderwill stop
automaticallyafter a 20 secondssilence. With AUTO
TRACKoff, theAUTOSTOPmodeis disabled•
IFinalizing CD-R& CD-RWdiscs
Finalizingis a simple procedurethat is necessaryin orderto
playbackthe discs onthe CDRecorder/Playeror onan
external COplayer.
Note Finalizingpreventsanyfurther recordingona CD-R.
A hnalizedCD-RWmust be unfinalizedto allow
further recordingor erasureof tracks•
1 Make sure the disc (inthe CDRecorder/Player)is
absolutely freeof scratchesand dustparticles•
2 With the recorderstopped pressFINALIZEandthen within
3 secondspress RECORD•
