9.1 If things go wrong
Unit does not run. The main switch on
top of the Porta-neb does not light.
Possible solution: Push mains lead firmly into
socket. Replace the fuse on the Porta-neb in
the mains lead socket.
The switch lights up but the Porta-neb
runs slowly.
Possible solution: Check filter - part no. 2153A
The switch lights up but the Porta-neb
does not run.
Possible solution: Return the Porta-neb
for service.
Unit runs but SideStream drug container
makes little mist.
Possible solution: Clean the SideStream drug
container by boiling in water with 2 drops of
liquid detergent for 10 minutes. Do not use
a cleaning brush. You may need to buy a new
SideStream drug container.
SideStream drug container bubbles but
makes no mist.
Possible solution: Take the SideStream drug
container to pieces and clean as explained
above.
