Why screen mirroring does not work with Android device on Philips Projector?
    • M
      Michael BowenSep 13, 2025
If screen mirroring isn't working with your Android device on your Philips Projector, your device must support Miracast. Check your Android device's user manual to see if it supports Miracast (also known as Screencast, Screen Sharing, WiFi Direct, Wireless Display, etc.) and how to enable it. You can also install the HappyCast app on your smartphone and follow the instructions given in the app.

Why is Philips Screeneo S4 video distorted or sound unsynchronized?
    • L
      Lauren ClementsSep 15, 2025
When viewing videos on your Philips Projector, if the sound or picture is distorted, or the sound is not synchronized, it could be due to insufficient Wi-Fi bandwidth, a slow smartphone, or parallel connections on your smartphone. The available Wi-Fi bandwidth might be insufficient for sending the video flawlessly from the smartphone to the projector because one or more Wi-Fi networks operate in the same frequency range nearby, certain IoT devices also operate in this frequency range. Your smartphone might not be fast enough to compress the screen data and send it simultaneously over Wi-Fi or your smartphone may maintain parallel connections to your home network and the projector. Disabling temporarily the connection to your home network may help.
