Phoenix ‘SPC10e’ Self Propelled Metering Chipping Spreader 03/12
HAZARD WARNING
In the event of electrical failure always put the Park Brake
on before leaving the operator’s position.
Refer to the maintenance section before adjusting or
dismantling the brakes.
ALWAYS use chocks on at least two wheels before getting
under the machine or working on the brake system.
Refer to the maintenance manual before manually releasing
the Park Brake
Power Failure
If an electrical power failure occurs the joystick will stop
controlling the drive, which will immediately go to neutral and
bring the machine to a halt.
The parking brake will NOT apply and MUST be engaged by the
operator.
The Park Brake calliper and the gearbox brake can both be
released manually if full system failure occurs. Carefully read
the manual’s maintenance instructions and understand fully the
safety warnings before carrying out this procedure.
