gears to increase the engine braking effect.
10. For rapid «pick up», e.g. for overtaking, shift down a gear to get the required
torque.
11. When driving up demanding slopes, shift down to employ the maximum pow-
er.
12. Check that the load is evenly distributed on the vehicle, and do not exceed
the foreseen loads (see «Technical data» chapter) to prevent tilting while
turning on a corner.

To avoid accidents due to exhaust fumes, take the following precautions.

DO NOT INHALE THE EXHAUST FUMES. THEY CONTAIN CARBON
MONOXIDE, A POISONOUS, COLOURLESS AND ODOURLESS GAS.
INHALATION OF THIS GAS CAN CAUSE LOSS OF CONSCIOUSNESS
AND MAY EVEN BE FATAL.

WHEN YOU SUSPECT THAT EXHAUST FUMES HAVE ENTERED THE
VEHICLE SEARCH FOR THE CAUSE AND ELIMINATE IT IMMEDIATELY.
IF YOU HAVE TO DRIVE IN THESE CONDITIONS, DO SO WITH THE SIDE
WINDOWS FULLY OPEN.
