When starting the engine cold, pull the starter knob. Release it a few seconds after
the ignition of the engine.

Press the start-up button for a few seconds until the engine starts. Do not try the switch
in the event of ignition failure, refer to the procedure described in paragraph"Difficult
starting".
WARNING
EXHAUST GASES ARE TOXIC. DO NOT START THE ENGINE IN A CLOSED
PLACE.

Stopping the engine (03_19, 03_20)
After stopping the vehicle, before turning off the engine put the gear into neutral po-
sition identified by the "N" position on the gear indicator.
