Turn the switch key to «OFF».

With the engine at idle, pull the clutch lever and turn the gearshift lever to 1st speed
position, identified by the "1" position on the gear indicator.

Slowly release the clutch lever and at the same time increase the number of revolu-
tions of the engine with the throttle hand grip.
WARNING
EXHAUST GASES ARE TOXIC. DO NOT START THE ENGINE IN A CLOSED
PLACE.
