Check
- Take the vehicle to a flat ground and rest it on the
central stand.
- Unscrew the oil bar «A», dry it with a clean cloth
and reinsert it, screwing it in thoroughly;
- Pull out the bar and check that the oil level is be-
tween the MAX and MIX levels indicated on the
bar (see figure); if the level is below the MIN value,
restore the proper amount of oil in the hub.
- Screw the oil bar back on, checking that it is tight-
ly in place.
N.B.
THE NOTCHES ON THE HUB OIL LEVEL BAR, WITH THE
EXCEPTION OF THOSE INDICATING THE MAX AND MIN
LEVEL, REFER TO SOME OF THE MANUFACTURER'S
OTHER MODELS AND HAVE NO SPECIFIC FUNCTION AS
FAR AS REGARDS THIS VEHICLE.
Replacement
- Prepare a suitable container.
- Remove the oil drainage cap «B» and let the oil
drain out completely.
- Tighten the drainage cap again and fill the hub
with oil.
