PIAGGIO X9 Evolution 500 - Driven Pulley Nut

- Ensure the correct installation on the crankcase
of the 2 centring dowels.
- Insert the transmission cover with the bearing
and install the relevant retainers.
- Lock the four M8 retainers.
Locking torques (N*m)
M8 retainers for transmission cover 23 ÷ 26
- Lock the 7 M6 retainers.
Locking torques (N*m)
M6 retainer 11 ÷ 13
- Insert the washers on the driven pulley shaft.
N.B.
INSERT THE SMALLER WASHER FIRST, THEN THE LARGER ONE.
- Insert the flanged nut.
- Prepare the torque wrench for LHS locking using
a machine hexagon wrench.
- Tighten the driven pulley shaft fastening nut using
an offset wrench.
N.B.
DUE TO THE HIGH TIGHTENING TORQUE, USING DIFFER-
ENT WRENCHES - SUCH AS A CONVENTIONAL POLYG-
ONAL BUSH - MAY DAMAGE THE HEXAGON OBTAINED
ON THE SHAFT OR BREAK THE BUSH ITSELF.
