1.2. Ports
The PIKO digital central station is equipped with ports for a main track, a programming track, a turning
loop relay and further Loco-Net
®
devices as well as a port for the power supply.

The programming track serves only for the programming of DCC decoders. During operation it is
currentless and a connection to the main track is not allowed.
2. First steps with the PIKO SmartControl
light
At rst, please connect all components according to the following graphic.

Now, please turn on the operating voltage by plugging the power supply into the power outlet. A
switchable multisocket outlet can be benecial.
The green control LED should now be turned on and the PIKO SmartController
light
should display the
locomotive mode.
