• Identifiers:
• ISO 9660: the created CD-ROM will be in the ISO 9660 format.
• Joliet: the created CD-ROM will be made using the Joliet standard (default set-
ting).
• Volume Identifier: This field contains the name that is given to the ISO 9660 vol-
ume. The characters that can be used in the Volume Identifier are restricted to
what ISO 9660 calls d-characters and the length is restricted to 31 characters.
• System Identifier:
This field identifies a system that can recognize and act on log-
ical sectors 0 through 15. While ISO 9660 specifies that this is what the System
Identifier is used for, it does not specify what is in sectors 0 through 15, nor does
it specify how the data is used. The characters that can be used in the System
ID are what ISO 9660 calls a-characters and the length is restricted to 31 char-
acters.
• Volume Set:
This field specifies the identification of the Volume Set of which this
volume is a member. (d-characters allowed)
• Publisher: This field identifies who provided the actual data contained in the files.
(a-characters allowed)
• Data Preparer: Identifies who performed the actual creation of the current vol-
ume. (a-characters allowed)
• Application: Identifies the specification of how the data in the files are recorded.
