4.13 Erasing a CD-RW / DVD RW disc.
This function is only available on the Plextor ReWriters / DVD recorder in combination
with a CD-RW / DVD RW disc. There are two ways of erasing a CD-RW / DVD RW.
• Quick Erase will only erase the table of contents (TOC); data will remain on the
disc, but becomes inaccessible. This takes about 2 minutes at 2X writing speed.
• Full Erase will erase everything on the disk. This can take up to 40 minutes at 2X
writing speed.
NOTE: Newer CD-RW / DVD RW media can be written and erased at the maximum
rewrite speed the recorder supports.
Select your CD-ReWriter / DVD recorder, the CD-RW / DVD RW functions option and
the desired erase option. Clicking the start button will start the erase procedure.
