vacuuming.
The roller has got a separate electric drive which engages simultaneously with the vacuum
cleaner motor.
To clean the roller:
1. Turn off the device through I/O switch (by setting it to "O" position).
2. Flip the vacuum cleaner so that its rear part faces toward you.
3. Given a small amount of hairs and threads having wound around the bristle roller, they can be
cut away with a knife without detaching the bristle roller. For this, position a sharp knife between
rows of bristles so that the sharp edge of the knife faces outward from the roller, and then move
the knife along the roller to cut any hairs and threads wound around it. Then, any hair trims can
be easily removed out of the brush body; for your convenience it is allowed to manually rotate
the bristle roller around its pivot axis.
4. Given a severe clogging of the bristle roller, detach the electric brush roller retention frame by a
slight outward exertion on the retainer latch plates, and lift the near end of the frame, then take
out the frame.
5. Slightly lift the right end of the bristle roller by pulling to the right, then unlatch it from the drive,
and take it out of the socket. Having the bristle roller taken out of the body, use a knife or scissors
to easily clean the roller from any hairs and threads wound around it.
6. Installation of the bristle roller back to its place in the brush body shall be performed in the
reverse manner.
7. Given a severe clogging of components of the brush and electric drive, contact an authorized
service center for disassembling and cleaning.
CLEANING THE LATERAL BRUSHES (Fig. 27)
1. Turn off the vacuum cleaner.
2. Check the brushes for any defects and / or foreign items, as well as debris having wound around.
3. If necessary, detach the brushes.
4. Wipe the brushes with a piece of cloth preliminary soaked in hot water and well wrung. Perform
the cleaning each time after vacuuming.
5. Given any damage to the lateral brushes, timely replace them.
CLEANING THE SENSORS AND CONTACT LEADS
- Make sure to keep the frontal wheel free from debris accrual.
- To remove dust from the fall sensors wipe them with a piece of soft cloth provided exertion no
mechanical impact. (Fig. 28)
- To remove dust from the bumper wipe it with a soft brush or a soft rag provided exertion no
mechanical impact. (Fig. 29)
- Use a piece of dry soft cloth to wipe the contact leads at the vacuum cleaner bottom, or on
the base (Fig. 30)
- Disconnect the electric battery at a long-term idleness of the device.
Any works regarding cleaning external parts of the vacuum cleaner are beyond the warranty
service.
